Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible for your data

The company responsible for personal data (the “controller”) depends on the market:

  • United Kingdom market: THE LEGAL PLANS LTD, 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. It handles personal data under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
  • All other markets: Bharat Sharma Consultancy, LLC, 1309 Coffen Avenue, STE 1200, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. It handles personal data under the laws that apply in the United States and in the market concerned.

In this policy, “we” means the company responsible for the data in question. Contact for both: contact@salesexperte.com.

2. Two kinds of people, two kinds of data

Buyers are businesses with an account on this site. Leads are people who asked to be contacted about a product or service and whose request is delivered to buyers through this marketplace.

3. Data about buyers

  • Name, business details, billing address, email and phone number you give us.
  • Your orders, the filters you chose, the leads delivered to you and your support requests.
  • Payment is handled by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Basic technical data (such as IP address and cookies) to keep the site secure and working, and, where you allow it, to measure how the site is used.

We use it to run your account, deliver leads, take payment, provide support, prevent fraud and meet legal duties. Our legal bases under UK GDPR are performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and securing the service, and legal obligation.

4. Data about leads

A lead’s name, contact details, location and the details of what they asked for are collected when the person submits a request through an online form on a website that we or our partners operate, which tells them their request will be shared with businesses that can help. Where the law requires it, the person’s consent to be contacted is recorded with the lead. The lead is then delivered to the buyers whose filters match.

5. Who we share data with

Buyers whose filters match a lead receive that lead. We use service providers for hosting, payments, email and support, and we disclose data where the law requires. We do not sell buyer data.

6. How long we keep it

  • Buyer and order records are kept for as long as the account is open and then for the period tax and accounting law requires, up to seven years.
  • Lead data is kept for 24 months after the lead was collected and then deleted or anonymised.
  • Technical logs are kept for up to 12 months.

7. Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive a copy, and where we rely on consent you may withdraw it at any time. If you are in the United Kingdom, these are your rights under the UK GDPR, and you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). If you live in a US state with a privacy law, such as California, you have the rights that law gives you, including to know, delete and correct your data and to opt out of its sale or sharing; we do not discriminate against you for using them.

If you are a lead and want to stop being contacted or to have your data deleted, email contact@salesexperte.com. We act on it and pass the request to the buyers who received your details.

8. International transfers

We serve several countries and our companies are in the United Kingdom and the United States, so data may be processed in countries other than yours. Where the law requires it, we protect transfers with safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.

9. Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect data. If a breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

10. Changes

We post changes on this page and update the date at the top.
